Thrive, Survive, or Perish: The Impact of a Prospective Payment System on Home HealthThe home health industry continues to reel from the health reform cost-containment measures mandated by the Balanced Budget Act of 1997. To add to these issues is the publication on July 3, 2000, of the final rules concerning the prospective payment system for home care.
